Hello my fellow nerds!

I’m Kelli Smith! A crafty cosplayer that loves to incorporate the nerdy & geeky things that I love into all aspects of my life!

Growing up I loved to read. I filled my summers with stories like Harry Potter, Jane Austen, and Lord of the Rings. My parents made sure we saw the classics: Star Wars and Star Trek. And my favorite morning cartoon was Sailor Moon. So…classic nerd 🙂 Sadly, I let my love for all things nerdy dwindle as I reached my awkward teenage years when the desire to “fit in” overruled the things I actually liked. 

But life is too short to not do the things we love!

In college I was introduced to glorious Cosplay and I started attending the FanX convention in Salt Lake City. This combined my love for costuming with my inner geek and I was reborn. Since then I have reconnected with my love for Harry Potter (I won’t lie, it’s my favorite) discovered new and delightful animes, and fully embraced all of those nerdy things that I once enjoyed.

With all the nerdy & geeky stuff out there, you’d think it would be easy to find anything you could possibly want, but I found gaps. Things that I really wanted to learn about I couldn’t find and that was frustrating. So here we are! I want to make “nerd” accessible to all who want to try. From exact replica costumes, to easy throw-together representations, to subtle nerdy home decor. Everyone should be able to let out their inner nerd, even if it’s just a little one.
